BOARD OF EDUCATION CANDIDATE FILING - APRIL 2, 2024 ELECTION
The Pierce City R-VI School District encourages qualified persons interested in running for a position on the school board to file as a candidate for the Tuesday, April 2, 2024 Municipal Election.
The District will accept filings at the District Office located at 300 N. Myrtle, Pierce City, MO.
Filing will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 5th, and continue during the District’s regular business hours which are 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. They last day to file is December 26th from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Filing will not occur on days that the District Office is closed for inclement weather and December 21st, 22nd, and 25th during Christmas Break.
For those filing on the first day (Dec. 5th), ballot order will be determined by a random drawing. Those filing after that date will appear on the ballot in the order in which they filed.
There are (2) positions available with three-year terms (April 2024-April 2027).
